Ready for a real adventure? Join us from Amsterdam to Kiel, August 26–29! Sail through the night, cook together on board, and navigate the historic Kiel Canal—an engineering marvel connecting the North Sea and the Baltic, with over a century of stories. No scheduled stops, just pure sailing, teamwork, and starry skies. Want in? Spots are limited, so jump on board!

On this hands-on trip, you’ll be part of the crew—whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just love trying something new. Everyone joins in with the sailing and onboard life: setting course, trimming sails, and preparing hearty meals together. There’s nothing quite like that sense of teamwork as we glide across open water.

We’ll sail day and night, letting the wind and weather shape our journey. With no planned stops along the way, it’s just us, the sea, and the stars above—perfect for those who want an authentic experience and a break from the busy routine. If you’re hoping to build sailing skills or just reconnect with nature, this is the way to go.

As we set off, our course takes us along the beautiful Wadden Islands, offering amazing views of the Dutch coastline. By night, you’ll spot the iconic lighthouses guiding ships at sea—an unforgettable sight under the stars.

A highlight of our trip is passing through the Kiel Canal, a legendary shortcut for ships between the North Sea and Baltic. Completed in 1895, the canal is not only practical, but also scenic and historic. As we travel its length, you’ll experience a mix of quiet countryside, impressive engineering, and a unique perspective that few travelers ever get.

When we enter the Kiel Canal, we’ll pass by picturesque German villages and sweeping countryside, starting with a lock at Brunsbüttel and finishing with another at Kiel. Built between 1887 and 1895 by over 9,000 workers, this 98 km canal is an engineering marvel with a long, fascinating history. Along the way, you’ll spot charming towns like Brunsbüttel and Rendsburg and share the waterway with ships from all over the world. Originally known as the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Kanal, it was renamed Kiel Canal after World War II. This historic waterway has been connecting the North Sea and Baltic for over 125 years, making it one of the world’s busiest artificial shipping routes.

No experience? No problem! The captain and crew love to share their knowledge—they’ll teach you to steer the ship and navigate the route, so you’ll pick up new skills no matter your starting point. All you need is a sense of adventure!
