Position update from the Twister
It is the morning of the 25th May 2025. Before the dawn, the crew is already on deck. Together we jibe. Everybody knows how to handle their ropes. So smoothly we pass the sails and on we go.
Heading straight for the English Channel. The waves are gently rolling and so are we. With the first light of day we set the outer jib and the sunrise brings us an amazing Rainbow.
Gazing at the rainbow, we talk about the gold treasure at the end of the rainbow. And I start thinking. Maybe it`s different. Maybe the treasure isn`t a pile of gold. Maybe it is this journey itself. Listening to Pete`s stories I realise that every single day is a gift. And we shall enjoy what we have and be thankful for the time which is given us. Let`s live this life as one adventure.
Here so far away from land. All the troubles and conflicts in the countries get so small. They don`t mean anything here. Wars and Political Interests seem silly. Why should we steal from other people? Why should we hate other people? We self on the Twister are proof that nationality means nothing. That we can only get onward if we share and care for each other. The run for money and power doesn`t make us happy. What it needs for real joy is so much simpler. Good company, a life in nature, Yummy food from Frederick and a gool to seek for together. Luckily, we have all this here and I hope that this joy will keep on beating in our hearts, when we come home. Then we can be part of the change to a better world. With more love, peace, hope and joy.
